The 8TV Report

Hello gang here is the debut of the 8TV report giving you the lowdown what hot on 8TV the best TV station in town! Here are the some of the best shows currently airing and soon to be broadcast on the station. So you can set your blackberries, PDA , mobile phones or just jot down in your daily planners on what to see.

First up we have Kung Fu Macchiato starring the ever so popular groups from Taiwan Lollipop and Blackie. Showing every Saturday and Sunday at 4.00pm and this is a kung fu comedy about the western city principal must find seven martial apprentices, to train them the custom “Premium seven spells” for resisting the cult and getting back the classic book, as well as annihilates the cult’s leader (Evil spirit master). However, the chief of western city institute student, Ling Hu Chung, does not care about fame and fortune, he would rather watch movies with his childhood girlfriend, Lu Chien Ning, but not willing to compete with others. Guo Qin’s martial arts catch up with Ling and also even the heart of Liu afterwards, Ling is changed in this twist and let him turn misfortune into blessing, the story is starting from Ling… So 8TV addicts if action , romance with comedy wrap around it and starring the most adorable teenage idols out there so make date with Kung Fu Maachiato and say " everyone wants to Kung Fu Fighting!".



Next up we have Honey and Clover so if you love the anime and manga now get ready for the drama version of the story. Showing on Sunday, 3pm and starring Haruda Natsuki, Ikuta Toma, Izumiya Shigeru, Kashiwabara Takashi, Kimura Yuichi, Maekawa Yasuyuki, Matsushige Yutaka, Mukai Osamu, Murakami Jun, Narimiya Hiroki, Narumi Riko, Seto Asaka, Takizawa Saori . Honey and Clover centers on the college loves and romances of five students. Focusing on their lives and relationships of these students who live in the same apartment building. If you are a sap for love stories this drama is for you!

Now we have another drama for you a interesting romantic comedy love story entitled ToGetHer all the way from Taiwan for our Taiwanese drama addicts out there. Starring the cutest Taiwanese actress I ever seen that is the one only Rainie Yang with Jiro Wang and George Hu. Catch the show every Saturday at 6.30pm.


Tyra Banks is back with the eight cycle of America’s Next Top Model! Starting 2nd of April 2009, viewers of 8TV will be able to watch another season of America’s Next Top Model for FREE at 10.30pm. So get ready for some cat fights, bitching and 13 young ladies all looking vogue and aiming to be the Next top Model!
