The 1st supermodel is in the house !

The sharp-tongued, former Supermodel, Janice Dickinson is back with her agency for the third season with more to offer starting 3^rd of April 2009 (every Friday) at 10.30pm for FREE on 8TV!

Created by Dickinson herself, the reality series follows the supermodel and former America's Next Top Model judge as she runs her very own modeling agency. With 30 years of experience under her belt, Dickinson believes she has much to teach the models she has carefully chosen to be part of her agency.

“This show is definitely an eye opener to the modeling industry. It not only shows us the hard work of becoming a model but also the ups and downs of running a modeling agency. Although Janice was a well-known model during her time, running a modeling agency altogether is a different obstacle,” said 8TV’s General Manager of 8TV, Ms Lam Swee Kim.

“Janice faces different kinds of challenges in this season. Struggling to make ends meet with her clients, models and business partner, season 3 is one hectic ride for Janice!” added Kim.

Aside from Janice Dickinson and her roster of models, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency also features renowned talent scout Peter Hamm, who serves as Janice Dickinson's business partner.

On the new season of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Dickinson's most recognizable models are experiencing some success, booking notable jobs and creating names for themselves in the industry. However, she soon finds out that a number of her top models are leaving the agency, claiming that they can no longer deal with Dickinson's business partner.

Facing the problem head-on, Dickinson decides to expand the agency by launching a Latin division. She focuses on finding the best Latin models and clients, and with them in tow, she intends on turning the fashion world upside down once again.

Meanwhile, Sorin, a model who was cut from the roster in the first season finale of the show, is back, this time as Janice Dickinson's personal bodyguard.

Among the new faces in this season are CC Fontana from Long Island, New York, Christian Prelle, Danny Nunez from La Crescenta, California, Daria Lukonia from Nizhniy, Novgorod, Dominique Sharpe from Los Angeles, California, Joe Monbleau from Rota, Spain, Maria Bernaldez from Reno, Nevada, Michael Anderson from Flint, Michigan, Nadia Alexandria from Moscow, Russia, Paul Anderson from Orlando, Florida, Payton Brady from North Carolina, Rodrigo De Carli from West Hollywood, California and Shaun McCarron from New Orleans, Los Angeles.

Enjoyed the past TVB series that were aired on 8TV? Well, it is going to get even more exciting as 8TV will be airing yet another hit TVB series entitled The Brink of Law on its special Asian Hour Slot. The Brink of Law will start premiering on 8TV starting 2^nd of April 2009 at 7.00pm!

The Brink of Law stars Steven Ma, Ron Ng, Ngok Wah, Bernice Liu and Michelle Yim.

“Another great TVB series for all our viewers out there! This series is definitely more intense that the previous ones that were aired. It will keep your heart pounding, that’s for sure!,” commented Ms Lam Swee Kim, 8TV’s General Manager with a smile.

Tong Chi-Ko (Steven Ma) is a respected lawyer and has always been his father's pride. His father dreams of seeing his son becoming a crown attorney for Hong Kong one day. Unfortunately for Chi-Ko, his father is addicted to gambling, much to the displeasure of his wife and daughter and ends up with a lot of debts.

While spending a day watching a horse race together, Chi-Ko meets Tung Yat-Tsun (Ron Ng), a veterinarian and the nephew to the head of an affluent corporation and become good friends.

Unknown to Yat-Tsun, his uncle, Tung Chin-Long, is involved with rigging horse races. Not only this, but there were more disturbing issues that Yat-Tsun did not know about his uncle’s family.

His aunty, Sung Gam-Chi (Michelle Yim), will do anything to ensure the safety of her family, particularly for the future of her favoured older son Tung Yat-Long. Her younger son, Tung Yat-Chiu (Vin Choi), is a selfish troublemaker and her niece, Sung Ka-Yee (Shirley Yeung), reveals herself to be manipulative, spiteful, and two-faced.

One day, Chi-Ko's father commits suicide after mistakenly believing that his wife and daughter left him because of his reluctance to stop gambling and unable to get out of debt. On the same day Chi-Ko also learns that he has achieved what his father wanted to see most.

Things become worse for Chi-Ko when Tong Chin-Long's younger son frames Chi-Ko with possession of illegal drugs. Chi-Ko loses his license to practice law, but is able to find work as a legal advisor for Nicholas, Tung Chin-Long's fashion company, with the help from Yat-Tsun.

One day, Tsun sees his mother at Nicolas, who had left him right after he was born. She had come to see Tung Chin-Long to get money from him to help with her new husband's financial troubles. Tsun overhears their conversation that Chin-Long had raped her while he was drunk, and that Tsun is actually his son.

When Tsun's father, Tung Chin-Pang (Law Lok Lam), hears of this, he has a fierce fight with Chin-Long. It triggers a heart attack, and Chin-Pang dies. Gam-Chi (Tsun’s aunty) thinks that Tsun wants to take Chin-Long's fortune away from her dearest son Long and hires an assassin to kill Tsun.

Chi-Ko is recruited by Madam Wong, to go undercover and reveal Gam-Chi and Chin-Long's suspected of swindling his companies money and illegal firearms business.

First up we have Kung Fu Macchiato starring the ever so popular groups from Taiwan Lollipop and Blackie. Showing every Saturday and Sunday at 4.00pm and this is a kung fu comedy about the western city principal must find seven martial apprentices, to train them the custom “Premium seven spells” for resisting the cult and getting back the classic book, as well as annihilates the cult’s leader (Evil spirit master). However, the chief of western city institute student, Ling Hu Chung, does not care about fame and fortune, he would rather watch movies with his childhood girlfriend, Lu Chien Ning, but not willing to compete with others. Guo Qin’s martial arts catch up with Ling and also even the heart of Liu afterwards, Ling is changed in this twist and let him turn misfortune into blessing, the story is starting from Ling… So 8TV addicts if action , romance with comedy wrap around it and starring the most adorable teenage idols out there so make date with Kung Fu Maachiato and say " everyone wants to Kung Fu Fighting!".



Next up we have Honey and Clover so if you love the anime and manga now get ready for the drama version of the story. Showing on Sunday, 3pm and starring Haruda Natsuki, Ikuta Toma, Izumiya Shigeru, Kashiwabara Takashi, Kimura Yuichi, Maekawa Yasuyuki, Matsushige Yutaka, Mukai Osamu, Murakami Jun, Narimiya Hiroki, Narumi Riko, Seto Asaka, Takizawa Saori . Honey and Clover centers on the college loves and romances of five students. Focusing on their lives and relationships of these students who live in the same apartment building. If you are a sap for love stories this drama is for you!

Now we have another drama for you a interesting romantic comedy love story entitled ToGetHer all the way from Taiwan for our Taiwanese drama addicts out there. Starring the cutest Taiwanese actress I ever seen that is the one only Rainie Yang with Jiro Wang and George Hu. Catch the show every Saturday at 6.30pm.


Tyra Banks is back with the eight cycle of America’s Next Top Model! Starting 2nd of April 2009, viewers of 8TV will be able to watch another season of America’s Next Top Model for FREE at 10.30pm. So get ready for some cat fights, bitching and 13 young ladies all looking vogue and aiming to be the Next top Model!
