2012 has come

Well 2012 has come and we say good bye to 2011. Personally to me 2011 was good year for me can't complain or bitch if I do it all my doing and no one else to blame but myself.  2012 look like a big year and busy one so I must get my self in the mode of  doing things or it back to my slacker self again. I will try to blog more often and put up more stuff on the blog and have fun with it.  Anyways cheers to all of us whom made to 2012, I know 2011 lots of historical land marks  but we won't got into details regarding that. No new resolution but just old ones that need to be fulfilled.  Lepak lounge is great place to chill and write stuff that seem important to me and might silly and superficial to others that fine with me.  It is the end of the second day of January tomorrow will be great day. Oh Angelina …….

Angelina Jolie is a big star with box full  of film under her belt, a handsome husband and bunch of kids in tow.  My first introduction to her was from a film called Hackers. That was back in the 90’s  a movie revolved around high school students whom are immerse in the subculture of computer hacking but for me I awe struck on the hot girl with boyish haircut in that film.

From there I had this huge fascination about her and I knew from there onwards she will be a big star.  She was totally hot and weird at the sometime that aura of mystery was she crazy or she needed some loving in her life.  I did my own web surfing and soaking up any news about this actress. It must be those lips of hers,  they are so juicy and natural.

As we fastforward  to now,  she did become big and famous went through slew of men before ending up with Brad ( You Lucky Man !)  Plus a boat load of children in tow.I do love her  action movies not to keen on her more dramatic roles don’t get me wrong she is good actress. I prefer in a  sexy vixen type roles. 

I don’t know how she manage to take care all those kids maybe she has a army of nannies standing by while she works.  With her own kids plus her adopted kids she still look stunning.   She will be one those actresses that still be hot when in their golden years.As for me  I married to my college sweetheart and a cute little girl in tow.  Worked in the entertainment industry and now pursuing my masters. Once an awhile I put in the  Hackers DVD and take me back to my college days when  I first fell in love to girl named Angelina.

Weekly wrap-up

Hello boys and girls sorry for the late updates on what going on at 8TV. It has been a whirl wind past few weeks. I have been on a short holiday after OIAM grand final.

• Starting off with the Tomok winning the One In a Million. The grand final at Malawati Stadium was blast, people don't know it took almost 100 people to put on this event. Lots of blood,sweat and tears was put in making OIAM, I hope the viewers enjoyed watching it at home and at the stadium. It was hard work putting the show together but outcome was spectacular. Give big hand to all the production people involve in making One In a Million a big hit!
  

• Is that time again to give deserving student scholarship so 8TV continues to award deserving scholars with network partners with SEGI to offer RM 1,000,000 worth of scholarship for the fourth year. So congrats all whom gotten the scholarship so study hard maybe one day you'll be CEO of 8TV!
  

• The 8TV general manager gave birth to a cute baby boylast week. I would like to give big congrats to Richard and Kim on their new addition.
  

• Would like to say on happy journey to Cynthia and Sam whom have embark new journey in their lives as both have left 8TV. I wish them well in their new adventure!

• Would like to say welcome back to Hisham and Fidzah joining back the 8TV family.

• To Alvin, Michelle and April it was pleasure having you guys as our interns. You guys really brought in freshness, wit and youth to the dept. Sorry I miss your last day, but please do drop by as you are part of the 8TV family.
  

• Also like to say welcome to our new intern Li Lian and Chiu Yen to the 8TV family.

Got a Converse Cap for this year secret Santa gift exchange .

Every year my office will do the secret Santa gift exchange, everyone will be in a frenzy buying looking for gifts to buy. Same with me this year I bought something out of the box a mini magna doodle.

This year the number that I picked was 86 and the gift was a navy blue Converse cap. I love caps, it suit me perfectly and addition to my collection. To my surprise while I was wearing the cap, my boss told me that the cap was from him. It was quite a surprise to me and I said thank you to him. Now that made the gift more memorable knowing it came from the boss. Thank you Boss and Happy Holidays to all!

A Sad Day.

Just heard that the girl in the gym bag was Nurin. The girl who went missing from her home this past month. After authorities did a DNA test on the little girl to confirm her identity.

I was at the office when the news got out on the Bernama news wire service. I felt sick and sad on what happened to the poor child.

While watching the News confirming it was her after the second DNA. Watching footage of her funeral and seeing her father with tears and trying hard to control his emotions. While the camera were flashing and the news crew hovering to cover this event. I myself felt the sadness, regret, grief and what if. Losing a child is one thing but to have unspeakable thing done to a child is just unacceptable.

It was a sad day for the nation, when our streets are not safe enough anymore. 20 years back we would not have heard these kind of stories. The more advance Malaysia becomes other problems will arise. Sometimes we close our I eyes to these woes and have that mentality it will never happen here.

Hope the person who done this to a sweet innocent child will be punish for the crime.

Lets us say a little prayer for Nurin and let her be with angels in Heaven.

Search @ Planet Hollywood KL

Got a chance to see Search in action up close at Planet Hollywood. It was amazing, a sold out show. The place was jammed pack with fans from young and old. Everyone was there for one purpose to rock it with Search! UK have Rollin Stones, Iron Maiden and US have Van Halen, Aerosmith. We Malaysian have Search, the no. 1 rock band in Malaysia! Fronted by the flamboyant Amy Search a true rock star from swagger to his fashion sense. He is true blue a rock star no deny it!

I had a rocking great time, headbanging and singing all the songs that they played that night! I was not able to catch them, when I was younger when the toured the country. This one of my dreams come true to see Search playing live!
