Yesterday I was in the city center so I made a stop by at the National Art Gallery. At first I was quite hesitant to make the stop because the the gallery looks very uninviting and i was not quite sure the gallery was open or not. Anyways parked the car and got out and when up the escalator and surely it was open for visitors but the were just me and a couple from Penang. Did a walk about in the gallery very peaceful not lots of people on the weekdays. A great place to for those non traditional individual to use this place as a meeting place ample parking (Free) lots of couches to sit and discuss. A great place to study quiet and peaceful. There even a small cafe to eat and good clean toilets. What can you ask for ! Met with 2 guys that work there Zamri and Wes if not mistaken those were their names. Had a nice discussion regarding the whole art scene how more people are appreciating the local artwork and more young artiste are coming up in the scene. While I was there the exhibitions called “ The Story Telling “ , “ Yang Utama” and “Kingdom Of Rebels”. For more information regarding these exhibits please log on the websites below.
